    Still conflustered

Hey guys, am back with more questions
Okay, couldn't wait for trial back of BBH's to arrive so carted myself off to nappy shop this morn for a sticky at the diff brands. Nappy shop a bit of a dissapiontment, boxes of sposies and only 2 brands of cloth. BBH and Peapods. Man behind the counter tried really hard to flog me Peapods so I compared the 2 and have to say that the BBH fitteds in bamboo just seemed sooo much nicer/softer/ bettermade and the diff was only 5 bucks. Cool, that was easy.
Now for the covers. The PUL just felt really nasty and synthetic and the wool looked great, but wool bloody itches me and the thought of woolen undies, 'specially in the inner thigh/groin area aaaaggghhh.
So are these 2 materials really a goer? (I live in QLD)
Is there a good alternative? (polar flecce? and who makes some that will fit BBH)
Also, when I adjusted BBH to tightest fit (newborn) they look like will do up under bubs armpit. Somewhere on these forums it was mentioned they could be rolled down, but I dont see how. (slap me for being dumb if i missed the obvious)
The man said liners - yes or no?
Also got orange ones (nice and subtle) can kid mooch around house in singlet and nappie without cover on? (or will i end up with pee smelling carpet)
Also, is it worth buying just liners or do you need to change the whole lot each time?
I will def be back with more obtuse Q's so hope you can help

good work on going to cloth! There is a a great RL nappy store in Logan if your willing to drive? I can pm with details!

In summer i dont use a cover on the BBH we just change him when its wet iykwim!
I havent used the BBH on a newborn but i think you just roll down the front and there should be snaps on the inside?
I would use a liner for NB just cause the poo is quite messy! Go for a micro fleece, or dispoable if you wanted! You will have to change the whole lot each time, as the wee wil be drawn into the bamboo!

    Thx Boomba,
Did see logan shop on net this am. Will def go have a look as have to go to bris this week anyway. Liners seemed like a good Idea to me too. The 2nd liners i was referring to was the inserts, so will the wee soak thru 2 layers of inserts plus the outer nappy? I also had a "proper" look at the nappy and see what you mean bout the snaps on the inside. Yes, can now see how front can fold down, but this means that there are only the 2 back snaps to attach one insert to. Am assuming that a second insert will just stay in place if I put it in right spot. (am also assuming that the right spot for boys will be different to girls???)
No doubt, will be back................ Ta heaps

Your most welcome i know when i started i had no idea and now i am hooked!
Yeah the whole nappy gets pretty wet! Itti bitti dlish have snap in system that you could possibly remove the inserts and snap more in and keep using the cover, but i find it jaust as easy to change the whole lot!
Yeah put more padding to the front for a boy! Cause Myles is bigger i can have the snaps folded up so i just snap it in one end iykwim. the boosters will stay in place!

The RL shop is great and they also have sweing classes ther which i will get to eventually!

    Good luck! xx
