Hi all. I feel a bit stupid as I think I should know what to do since i am an early childhood teacher who has taught little ones to use the toilet many times before.

My 28 month old son has been toilet training for about 2 months now. We were toilet timing him (taking him every hour) and he was doing wees every time we put him on the toilet. very rarely did he poo but I wasn't concerned about that. He now kicks and screams when we tell him it is time to go to the toilet. So we backed off and told him to tell us when he needs to go. He wont tell us. He just goes in his undies. He used to tell us when he had an accident but now wont tell us that either. Not sure what to do. I always advised parents that after having success for a time period like we had then to keep going and not go back into nappies but I'm not sure this time.

Any advice would be great.
