    Toilet Training

    Hi

I would like to introduce myself. I am new to BB and looking forward to chatting with other mums about the joy of parent hood. I have a 20 month old son and am thinking about toilet training. Can anyone tell me some tips to get this started?

    hi and welcome to BB!!

To TT my first daughter we used the Potty Trainer method (you can google it!) - it worked really well for us! You do have to pay for their little booklet though, but it came recommended to me so I thought I'd give it a go.

Basically it suggests going straight to pants - no pull-ups, and setting aside a weekend to stay at home and train. They also say getting them familiar with the potty as soon as you can is helpful. And keep it fun!

    Good luck!

I used the Potty Trainer method too and found it fantastic. My DD was very stubborn and it even worked on her. Mind you I dreamt about the potty alarm in my sleep for a few night, LOL!!! She is now fully day trained for poos and wees. Best of luck!!
