Talking My baby girl is so clever

Following is a shameless mummy brag about how wonderful my little girl is so if you don't want to read gushing, turn away now

For the last few weeks Juliette has pulled her nappies off when they're wet & told me as soon as she has pooed. So lately we've had her with no bottoms on & she has happily been weeing in the potty. For the first few days she didn't make it in time, but now she gets it every time.

On Wednesday night I bought her some knickers & she was thrilled when she got to wear them yesterday. She lasted the whole day (except for a nappy when she had her sleep) in one pair, including being out to do the preschool dropoff & go to the post office which was around half an hour. She only had the one accident at 3pm because she was outside playing & I guess didn't realise until it was too late.

This afternoon we tried the knickers again (we were out in the morning) & she did really well. A few minutes ago she took them off & was saying "potty" over & over. She sat down, then got up, sat down then got up a few times then sat down. She stood up after a minute looked in & said "YUCKY" when normally she would say "wees". I had a look & oh my goodness couldn't believe it, she's done her first poo in the potty. We were very excited & had to ring daddy at work

So there you have it, my 21 month old baby girl is teaching herself to use the potty with very little help from me She's so clever

Well done Juliette! We must have a couple of twins, as my 21 mth old DD has also been toilet training herself. She still wants her nappy though even though she does not use it.

Aww how clever! I've been stopping my 2yo training cos we're going away o/s for 3 weeks LOL. Don't want to be finding toilets everywhere for her hahaha. Hopefully she'll train just as easily as Juliette when we return!
