URGENT HELP!! advice needed how do you get a stool sample from a 14 week old???

i need to get a stool sample from my 14 week old son under pead instructions buthe didnt tell em how just gave me a jar and said refrigerate it till you come here tomorrow. HOW do i collect a stool sample just scrape it out of the nappy????

Yep, just scrape some out of nappy. Much easier than catching wee. Hope all is ok with your little one.

thank you for your quick reply i gt some when i opened the jar there was like a scoopy thing attached so used that then screwed it up and wiped down the out side THATS heaps

my son isn't gaining weight fast enough so pead wants to run some tests blood stool and wee he wnats
ive never had poo in my fridge before kinda strange But hey YAY i can do a stool collection now hehe ill add that to my CV

Hahah in my previous life (when i used to work), i had to at times, assess poo samples in a machine for a special test. You, with poo in your fridge reminds me of those times! lol

I once had to collect a mid-stream wee sample from a fully-grown stallion. Don't ask! Lots of dancing about with a (supposed to be) sterile jam jar, avoiding lashing hooves...
