ds1, just turned 3 and ghas been dry every night since (barr one or 2 were he was sick)
however
ds2, is 4 in june and still has to have a night nappy, he has the odd night were he will be dry, but it is very very rare, ive tried just leaving him hoping he would 'click' to being wet, even getting up and getting him to go during the night, but nothing! so for my own sanity he has pull ups at night, or im doing daily loads of sheets!
After TTing during the day at 2.5 I thought NNs would soon be behind us.....wrong. In February this year we were finally dry, so 4.75. It was an accident really. We just forgot (how I don't know but I did) and it was a total surprise in the morning lol. Only the night before she had been in a nappy and had wet.
DD1 is 3.5yrs. She still has a pull-up at night. Most nights when she comes into bed with us she is dry. Although between that time and when we take it off in the morning she isnt.
Im really over the pull-up thing. Its sending me bonkers. Only problem is there is always a tantrum whenever we bring up not wearing the pullup to bed. There are nights I hope she falls asleep without it on and I carry her to bed without knowing, then has a dry sleep. That would be great! One day
My DS1 was 5 and after we stopped the pull up over night and used the Conni, it was a 1 night a week accident for a while.
My DS2 is 4.5 and still in night pull ups. Hasn't woken up dry consistent enough yet.
Perhaps you could try when she comes into bed with you at night, putting her on the toilet before she gets in?
I'm pretty certain DD is going to be a different story, she is already waking up some mornings dry.
My DD who was born almost the same time as yours 28/9/07 is still in pull-ups at night. She wants to ditch it but i wont let her as she wets the bed almost every night so i figure she's not ready. We talk about it a lot, how big girls don't wear nappies to bed, how she can call out for me to help her go to the toilet if she needs to at night etc. She gets it but just isn't ready. TBH the majority of kids her age i know are still in nappies at night. So i'm not too worried about it although it is annoying i agree!

We had the tantrums too, and Darcy would wet in that same time you mentioned. SO to keep the peace I just let her do what she was comfortable with. I did find though that the largest nappy-pants fit the same as the pullups for DD (she was 20kgs at the end) and were much cheaper.
Kim, you know the whole reason why sh eis in pull-ups instead of nappies at night is because of their so called claim that they know when they are going. I say so called, because they didnt even help DD1 when she TT. I think she just thought she was safe to go whenever she wanted because she had a nappy on. In the end I called it the 'nappy mentality.' The second the nappies came off and she was ready, no accidents and she was happy to use the loo. So considering they dont seem to help her iin the learning process we may go back to the nappy pants... Im keen to save some money!
junglemum, thank you saying that, because Im experiencing the opposite at the moment. All the kids in her age group tht I know seem to be nappy free at night. Whether that is 100% true is another story I suppose, we all know how it goes, once mum says something.....
