What dispoable nappies would u recommend?

We're currently using disposable nappies for Ella until she is a little bigger as she was born a small baby. We've tried Huggies for Newborns which is the best so far compared to Baby Love and the worst is Woolworth's Select Diapers....we got those as samples thank goodness! Wouldn't want to be stuck with a box of those!

I was just wondering if there are diapers out there which is as good as Huggies but cheaper....we have yet to try Dribot from Target [I think]. Anyone used this before?

I dont have kids but lots of friends do and so many love Aldi ones they are apparntly the german huggies and really good and cheaper.

Misty, yeah the Aldi ones are great value for money. $16 bucks for a large packet, depending on size but DD gets 88 I think per pack.
I have also found with DD that they are better than the huggies for overnights, as they seem to hold alot more wee

My sister is finding the dribots from Target are the best on her newborn. Every other brand they have used, including Huggies, have leaked, but not the dribots. So I reckon they would be worth a try.

I use huggies for a newborn then go to snugglers.. They haven't let me down yet.. Although I only buy them in the box.. I found in the bag the boys wet through

I find huggies have been the best for my DD, i have tried snugglers over and over again and each time i regret buying them because she ends up with nappy rash because i find they dont soak up the wetness as good as huggies!

I use huggies at night, they so far are the best I've used. But I actually do use the Woolworths nappies durning the day, I've never had a problem with them. The sizes are great, they have so much more room than all the others I've tried & I've never had a leak or crystals left on bubs & for $15 a box we save heap of money.

erin_25 - woolly's nappies didnt work for us at all. it leaked so bad i was just glad she didnt poop that time! lol

guess i'll have to try aldi's, snugglers AND aldi's eh? all i have is time n well, anything's worth a try.

Wow my bub was very different. We were given some leftover huggies newborns, which were too big. So we used the babylove box I had until it finished. By then, couple of weeks later, the huggies fit well. I use snugglers and we've only had a few leaks (overtime for changing). I have used babylove too, but they fill quicker. I didn't like aldi ones, too long. Woolies ones were a bit thin and filled quickly. Depends on your budget and how often you can change bub.

we had to use the newborn ones coz she's kinda small. i had planned to use cloth nappies initially for during the day n disp nappies at night but obviously that's not going to happen. for us, babylove is pretty good altho not as good as huggies. but woolies filled up TOO quick and was too big.

If you are interested in cloth nappies, you could look at Premmie sized unbleached prefolds.

Other than that, a lot of people are quite happy with BabyLove during the day.

i found baby love to be the worst ever nappies, when i buy disposables (my DD is a clothie) i buy the coles brand nappies, but the ones in the white packs. Not the "you'll love coles" boys/girls coloured packs. they're baby love packaged differently. Horrendous.

I agee with anna** though, you could just buy premmie cloth nappies, and buyena them...

Aldi or Huggies. They are what i used to use but now use MCN but have Aldi as back ups.

unfortunately we dont have aldi in WA.... my SIL brought me over some Aldi nappies last year, they were great!

Huggies are awesome, i just cant justify spending that much on something that is only going to be pee'd on and thrown out!

We use Coles nappies. DD was born small and the Coles newborn fit better than Huggies. Now that she's a bit bigger we're still using Coles and have moved on to the next size up.
