Angry What has hapened to huggies?

I'm sure this can't just be me and I'm wondering if anyone else has had a problemm with huggies nappies since they have changed the design (yet again) I'm sure they have changed the "recipe" so to speak.

I bought a new box of huggies girl nappies last week and noticed when I opened them that they've changed the pictures on the actual nappies and the box, still Winnie the Pooh but just different pictures. Anyway I've also come to find that they're absolute CRAP!! I've had to wash the girls sheets everyday since putting them in the new nappies cos the wee hs leaked straight through and not even huge wee's either, just the same as before. Also DD 2 has come out with terrible nappy rash that looks really painful.

I tried to ring Huggies this afternoon but "no one is available to take my call" (how convienient) as they are all on a "training day, learning how to serve me better" (answering the phone would be a start). I'm so angry I could spit, nothing annoys me more than not having a phone call answered and why on earth did they have to stuff about with them in the first place? probably money saving I know while they continue to charge the earth for them.

So, am I on my own or has anyone else noticed a diference? then I can add fuel to my fire when I finally do get through to them. And has anyone else got an ideas of alternatives nappies for the long night sleep? before someone suggests cloth I have been a clothie for 4 years and now that we're all but toilet trained and only on a night nappy each practically I can't be bothered with cloth, I just want the lazy way out for a while till bubba number 3.

Have you got an Aldi near you? I know there's a few people on here and I have family who can't recommend them highly enough.

One of the ladies from mums group: her hubby is a sales consultant for huggies or something and he told is that aldi nappies are the next best to huggies... (something about the testing they did) can you give them a go? ALternatively you could just use a cloth cover over the top of your disposables?

kiki - I've noticed with my latest box of newborn huggies that the absorbent crystals come out of the nappy, pain trying to wipe them off DS.

Boo about their lack of customer service too!

Now that you mention it, I have noticed DD has leaked through three times in the last week overnight!!! I might try the Aldi nappies, huggies are expensive and if they aren't working then it isn't good enough.

Definitley try the ALDI ones as cookiemonster suggested.
I have used them from the start and have not had any probs with them. I rarely have to change Flynn overnight and it is very rare that we have any leaks. They are super absorbent. No nappy rash probs for us either.
    POOH to huggies!!

Hmmm, I use huggies at night but I haven't had to buy the new ones yet. The only time Charli wet through at night was when she needed to go up a size.
I have heard rave reviews about Aldi nappies and I have used them a few times (except the newborn size as they are a real funny shape - well the ones I bought were anyway) but all the other sizes are great. The Coles brand are also very good too.

Huggies are overpriced and over-rated... get thee to an Aldi store. $16 for 52. (something like that)

I have noticed it too, AND the crystals too!!
If isabell didnt sleep thru, id change her nappy when she woke up, but she does, so i cant luckily when she leaks its usually only a tiny bit.
