She has a full week of dry nights (and 4 of big girl undies, not pull ups).. I know accidents can, and probably will happen, but is a week long enough to assume that there is no more nappies for her? She will be 4 in November.
Congrats to you and your clever DD! Is she very proud of herself?!
Sorry to hijack... but can I ask if the same applies even if they're very young? DD is 25 months and has been dry the last 6 nights. I'm in no hurry to night TT her and certainly in no hurry to change wet sheets and jarmies. But I'm not sure how long to persist with expensive pull-ups 'till I can be confident that it's a permanent thing?
Personally, If she's stayed dry 6 nights I'd be turfing pull ups and going undies only. Have a few sets of sheets ready to go, and something on the bed to catch the whizz so it doesn't ruin the mattress and give it a go. Honestly, you have nothing to lose.
I can't take any credit, except noticing that the pull ups were dry in the morning. DD did it all herself We have had a few accidents, but she was quite sick last week though.
Santosha - how have you gone? My cousin was fully TT at 20 months, with no effort from her parents.. They noticed she was dry and stopped putting her in nappies.. No problems at all..
DS will have ten dry nights in a row, then 4 wet then all over the place.
The continence advice place says 21 in a row, so I guess thats the magic number
Dry for the last few weeks. The last time she did wet she woke up crying out 'need a weeeee' so she's pretty conscious of wanting to remain dry, she just noticed too late. I just keep putting off biting the bullet and leaving her in undies as I'm hobbling and preggers and the thought of changing sheets at 3am just makes me want to cry! gotta suck it up and have a little faith I guess!
