    Eczema from suedecloth liners?

DS1 recently got what I thought was normal nappy rash, but it got worse when I used zinc cream (gaia soothing lotion). I have started just putting heavy moisturiser on it and it is clearing up. I have always used cloth nappies but have only recently started using suedecloth/fleece liners, which is why I was thinking it might be related to them.

So has anyone else has found their bubs has gotten a really dry eczema type rash on their bottoms using suedecloth or microfleece?

Maybe it is the microfibre boosters... should I be putting 2 liners betwwen the microfibre and his skin? I don't really want to stop using microfibre as the top layer as I was getting leaks without it.

    HI Bermme,
My DD gets a funny spotty rash if I put her in fleece inners for too long, so I alternate them with natural fibres. It's hard overnight though as if she's sitting next to wet cloth she sometimes gets the other sort of nappy rash! What happens if you take out the liners?

My DS is the opposite. Not sure about suede cloth, coz I've never tried, but he has to have a fleece liner or it takes one wee for him to be winging in pain.
