4yo still night wetting and won't use a nappy?

    Hi,

DD is 4 and still not night trained. Since going to her cousins place for a stay over she has been refusing to wear a pull up (even the expensive pretty cloth/undie style pants I just bought her).

So for the last month we've gone without and she still wets every single night. I've been using brolly mats to catch the wee.

Initially DH and I started taking her to the loo late at night and then early morning. This seemed to prevent a wet bed. Then I thought that it was better just to leave her to wee and hopefully she'll wake up. Now some times she does wake and we get a call to change her but others she sleeps through.

What can I do? Do I insist on putting the pull up back on or do I honor her wish to be nappy free and just keep doing what we are doing.

Other things we've done is put a potty in her room so that she doesn't have to travel down the dark scary hall at night.

    Any suggestions???

Maybe you can put a nappy on her once she is asleep? I had to do that with DD2 for a while because she flat refused to wear nappies once she started TT and until she was night trained that was the only way I could get them on her at night. She was only 2 though so I don't know how you would go with a 4yo

Just subscribing: we have a 3yrd old that wears insists on wearing a nappy to bed. She wets in the morning because she is too lazy to get up and go to the toilet
Hopefully will get some helpful suugestions form other BB'ers
