OK.. DS has been loving eating cherries lately, but OMG.. his poos have turned a few of his nappies purple, and it's not coming out! I've done lots of washing & sunlight, and still no luck. Even the microfleece is stained!
I'm thinking of soaking in Napisan *shudder*, washing, and then doing a strip wash. What do you think?
Trouble is I can't strip wash the fuzzibunz coz it'll wreck the PUL. Not sure how to give them a special wash.
Help?

oo.. thank you! Might work on his bibs too LOL. Mangoes are an awful culprit for staining clothes (not nappies tho thank goodness hehe).
I'm pretty sure we've got some glycerine around here somewhere.
Liz you could try a stripwash just don't do it too often IYKWIM.
Lulu now I've got that Bush song in my head ROFL. Might have to go dig out the CD now and crank it up![]()
Yeah.. I did a strip wash a little while ago coz the nappies stunk from being dried indoors a lot during a long patch of rainy weather. So I'm reluctant to do it just for a stain.. coz they're essentially clean, just stained iykwim. I'll let it go a few more washes I think and see how we go before I do anything drastic heh.
It's the vinegar that does the damage isn't it? Would washing in bi-carb without the vinegar rinse be worth trying?
