I bought some bamboo that has a layer of PUL on one side..
Does anybody know how I can use it to make some breast pads? I need them quite absorbant as the milk bar seems to always be leaking out the front door.
I was thinking..(from breast outwards..)
minky, bamboo/pul(with pul on outside), then cotton?
I have no idea!
TIA
You could use it... Minky, microfibre, bamboo/pul, cotton... Just make sure the microfibre is NOT on your skin... I did some like that... but I had hemp not bamboo... Good luck.
You want to make them as symetrical as you can, and want the layers of material to be even when they are joined- no puckering- or else they stand out under your clothes and look funny. (allegedly)
A few years ago here, there was a bamboo co-op and I bought some bamboo. it had the best intentions, but never got used.
Now I want to make some breastpads but would have no idea.
I even think I have some pul around here too..
I have no access to minky or anything like that - just a few layers of bamboo and one of pul (and maybe a print outer? I have a mil with heaps of cotton print fabric!) - would that work?
