fleece / velour covers ?

i have been making fleece pockets and also covers for my DD ...
but i am wondering if i put a layer of poly velour on the outside to make it look really pretty would it cause any problems ? experiences? advice ?

I can't see why you can't give it a try!

Poly would mean no wicking. I'm thinking you could have an issue with bulk though.
