Hi ladies, About to make my first set of nappies for DD, but just wondering what kind of fabric is good for using outside. We've bought a good 2m of plain PUL that im going to use as a hidden layer, so i want to use some pretty fabric for the outside. I had read somewhere that plain cotton can cause wicking - is this true? or what other kinds of fabric would be good for oustide - like a jersey or interlock???? HELP!
well I've got nappies with fleece, minky, cotton, corudroy and plain PUL on the outside.
The cotton one only wicks when it's really wet, but the minky and fleece ones are much 'safer'.
You can pretty much put anything on the outside, just depends how they're made, how absorbant they are and how full you allow them to get.
