I hope this is the right place to put this.

My friend is 25 weeks pg & is now in the hospital with severe placenta praevia. She went into early labour a week ago which they managed to stop. They have given her lots of antibiotics to stop any infections & given the baby 2 lots of cortisone. They have told her that the baby will probably be born in the next week, maybe 2, but no longer than that.

The baby will be in NICU for at least a few weeks, and of course the parents are worried. They have a 2 year old son who is staying with grandma atm, but he doesn't really understand what's going on.

What I'm asking is what is an appropriate gift to give? What did you ladies appreciate being given with a premmie?
