Brendan was discharged on Easter Saturday last year... the 7th of April. He was 42 days old and weighed in at 2190gms.

It's been such an emotional, yet amazing rollercoaster.... and i'm afraid i don't think these feelings are going to end today. not even after being free from the hospital for a whole year. Maybe if i wasn't getting the comments i do, I wouldn't feel this way.... but I wouldn't change it for the world. He is perfect to me and thats all that really matters. I dont think anyone that hasn't been through the journey will ever understand me. And thats ok.

I would like to take this time to celebrate Brendan's first year at home!

Congratulations Brendan for being hospital free for 1 year! You are my sweety and i love you soooo much.
