Thinking of you both Lys and BAL x Hoping Miss A and Mr J have a good day today.

Can't believe DS1 is nearly 5! 5 years ago and my pregnancy started to look better, the bleeding had eased right off and I was vomiting less frequently (only 1-2 times a day lol). The nausea etc was still there though. We had not long moved to a new town and were settling in well. I still think about the weeks leading up the Feb 10th (when my waters broke) thinking about what I had done and if I had caused it. I was still on at home bed rest so had done nothing at all strenuous.

Ah how time goes so quickly, yet so slow too.

I have been following your blog Lys, little miss A is doing well
Yay for a cuddle and a little suckle, that is awesome for both of you...it is such an amazing feeling
It is such a fine line with these tiny ones, the have to take blood each day for blood gases and they don't produce there own RBC means they have to do the transfusions...iron is not enough yet. Soon she will start to produce her own RBC and they will slow down on the blood gases so transfusion won't be necessary...that is when they start on iron. I brought both of mine home on it.

BAL thinking of your and little J. I am putting lots of positive thoughts out there for his operation

It does go fast doesn't it EK.
My teeny tiny boy is two in 9 days. I went in for my emergency stitch this time two years ago. I left the hospital confident he was on lock down. A week later everything turned upside down and he was born way before he was ready.
    It is quite emotional.
My little 35 weeker also turned 4 three days ago (going on 40 )
She starts kindy this year, I can't wait to get her uniform she is going to look so cute!

The light is at the end of the tunnel. Amelia just needs to stop the destats and Brady episodes and she's now off oxygen (day 3 off pbf) hoping the red writing clears in the next few days so I can bring my baby home.

That's awesome news Lys! I have everything crossed for you. I found the last week to be the most frustrating. How much does she weigh now?

How low are the desats going? Is she self resolving quickly? Try not to stress, everyone desats

Ds1 desated and bradyd a lot with feeds, she will grow out of them, ask about the possibility of going home on a monitor.

She destats usually to the mid 80s. Rarely below 79. Her bradys and destats r self resolving with no colour change.

Do they know why she is desat & Brady during feeds?
My little DS2 used to desat because of reflux. I remember the monitor going off all the time & wondering why..... FX it gets less, soon.
