Hi Rosebud. This is something that is not uncommon in very prem babies like ours. Very often babies of this early gestation are given a drug called lasix. This drug is a diuretic that helps clear away the excess fluid from around the baby's lungs and heart. This can aid in causing this calculi to form. They will watch this with ultrasound - most often they are passed through the wee - somnetimes they will require surgery.
I hope that has helped honey.Try not to worry too much and your doctor will be able to shed light on how large the calculi is and if it's likely to be passed or not. Each individual case is different...
ETA: Sometimes they can be lasered as well to avoid surgery...xxx
