Amby nest question

We ended up getting the fake amby nest and for all intents and purposes it looks the same as the real Amby. However it seems to hang quite low so I was just wondering if anyone who has a real Amby could tell me how far off the ground is their hammock?

it's fairly low - it's a design feature "just in case" it were to fall - minimal distance to the ground

I think it is listed somewhere on the Amby website if you have a look. I pulled ours down, but yeah, it did sit quite low, for the reason BG said

Thanks! We put it beside our bed and it does look the perfect height for messing about with for night feeds etc! Didn't think of the fall factor. Although we did grow up knowing the lullaby 'Rocka bye baby'!!! Should of thought LOL!!
