    Smile Baby Bjorn COMFORT carrier?

    Hi all,

Looking for any advice on the newish 'comfort' carrier from Baby Bjorn Vs.. the rest of the world.

I did a bit of research when DD was born and bought a HAB and thought I would later buy an Ergo. My sister-in-law had given us on older Bjorn but had read all the stuff about how bad they are for bubs spines and was determined not to use it. Loved the HAB for first few months and then just found it really difficult to use as she got bigger.. dunno its just like everytime I put it on she ends up sinking downward like it's stretched or something?? My husband started using the bjorn - much to my protests (as something untill we got the ergo) but she LOVES it and now hates being faced in with any other carrier She is now 10 months old and a very tall baby so can no longer use the one we have - and I can't use it myself as it hurts my back too much.

Sooo I seen this 'comfort' carrier from bjorn - looks like they are copying the ergo type carrier - it has a band that goes around the hips etc.

Would love to hear from anyone who has tried THIS carrier - I can see on other forums that people have asked about the comfort but only received answers about how bad the bjorn is from people talking about the previous models. Having said that I too am not a fan of bjorn in general and would love to also hear about any other carrier that has bub FACE OUT. Beco Gemini? It needs to have the option of facing out and of course be comfy on your poor old back

    Thank you in advance

You could use the Ergo on your back like a backpack at 10 months! Try that before buying something else R loved being on my back!

I don't have thoughts on other carriers but I know that Bebe in South Yarra will let you trial some carriers (including an Ergo) for a small fee. Info is on their website.

Thanks Raven and Fiona unfortunately the prob with the Ergo is that she wants to be face out so can't use it I tried on my back but she don't like that either

No one used the comfort carrier or Becco or any other that is easy to use, comfortable for your back and faces out?
