    Baby Carrier - which one?

I have a Bubba Moe sling and love it, but I'd also like to get a Baby Bjorn style carrier. Which one do you recommend and why? I want one as DD is becoming more alert and on her clingy days she wants to look around but be close to me, making it near impossible to do anything!

I really didn't like the Baby Bjorn when I used it with DD1. I felt like I was using it incorrectly as her position always seemed uncomfortable to me, but I've heard a lot of people say that the Baby Bjorns aren't designed to hold babies in the right spot, and it can be bad for their hips. I didn't know that until recently but FWIW I stopped using the Baby Bjorn because it was uncomfortable and time-consuming to get in and out of. A lot of people have recommended the Ergo carrier to me, I haven't bought one yet as DD2 and I are more than happy with our Bubba Moe sling, but I definitely have it in mind for the future. I've read that Ergos are better-designed and hold bub in the right position, giving their hips and bottom the support they need.

    ERGO!!!!!!!!!!!!
i bought it when my dd was quite old, maybe 12 months, but i can't wait to use it from scratch with this bubba.... i did some research and went with ergo and was so happy, so comfy, and you can put bubs on your back when they get older....

The Ergo is designed to support bubs spine, and not compress it the way that the baby bjorn does. Plus you can use it until they are 4 years old (or something like that) so you get really good value for money.

I have a bubba moe, ergo and close carrier. If I'm just hanging out the washing I'll use the bubba moe to throw miss m into. However, it pulls terribly at my neck and shoulder because she's close to 10 kg. However, I'm pretty big in the tummy now, so can't wear the Ergo comfortably in the front carry, and I'm too unco at the moment to try and get her on my back by myself. I could easily get DS to sit in the ergo in the back position cos he can climb onto my back himself.

I love my ergo! Also have a close baby carrier which is excellent for little bubbas. I started using the ergo around 4 months.
