    Baby Jogger Mini Double anyone?

I am looking at getting a double pram and am leaning towards the Baby Jogger Mini Double. DD will be 2 3/4 when bubs is born but is still very happy to ride in pram and she often sleeps in the pram while we are out and about. We currently have a single Mountain Buggy but you can't get a toddler seat and I think I really need a pram that can have both kids sleeping if necessary.

I am not interested in a P&T so please don't respond recommending one of these.

Does any one have a double baby jogger and if so how do you find it getting through doors etc? I like that it is light weight. Weighs about that same as my single MB!

We are going to the USA in Aug so if I decide to get it, will buy it over there as they are much cheaper but would like to look at one here first. If anyone knows who sells these in Melb it would be great.

Anyway, feedback appreciated but again, please no P&T recommends.

There is a rumour that Mountain Buggy are going to release a new inline double pram later this year. I saw a picture of a sample from a baby expo in the US. It's called something like the "plus one". May not be in time for you though by the sounds of it.

Hi Marknjo - I haven't got any experience with the babyjogger twin mini

BUT - I did buy the city mini single! and I LOVE IT!

IMO - baby joggers are the best pram, I am glad I got one - I have already told hubby that the next pram will be a baby jogger twin for when we have bub number 2. There are plenty of reviews on youtube about the city mini and elite. I posted one in another thread - I will see if I can find it.

I don't have one but my best friend does (has twins). I'd say that the seats look pretty narrow for a bigger child... just something to think about. It takes up a lot of boot space too. It's wide but it does handle very very nicely. Easy to push and easy to steer. HTH

Thanks Ruth. I am now having doubts about getting a double! I don't want to waste money on something we may only use for a short time and I am concerned about the size of doubles! Ahhh decisions!

Tough isn't it! Depends a little on if you are going to have a 3rd too... Also, do you like using a carrier - new baby could go in that your DS in the stroller?

Yeah that's what I've been thinking. I have a Baby Bjorn Active which was great but because DD was so small I couldn't use it for the 1st 4 months! Hopefully this bubba will stay in longer and come out bigger and fit into the baby bjorn! I am leaning towards just getting a skate board for DD and using the carrier if DD wants to rest. You never know by the time bubs is here in Nov DD might be over the pram completely. And it is only for when I am out and about on my own as we have a maclaren stroller so if out with DH he can puch 1 and I can push the other.

So after months of deliberation we have just got back from Hawaii and while there picked up a Baby Jogger City Mini Double and I love it! We didn't take a stroller with us on the holiday so used it with just Caitlin in it (she put her doll in the other seat!) while we were away and it is great. It weighs the same as my single mountain buggy and takes up the same amount of space in the boot as the MB does. It is only slightly wider than the single MB so it really doesn't make that much of a difference as the checkouts we couldn't previously go through we still can't so even if I kept using the MB and then carrying baby in a sling I would still not be able to go through certain ones. It is so great to push nice and responsive and Caitlin has no problems fitting into the seat so we should get some good use out of it. Best of all after exchange rates etc it cost us $500 AUD as opposed to the $850 that is the cheapest I have seen it in the stores here - WIN WIN WIN
