baby shower gift registry???

hey all. Just wondering if there is such a thing as a baby shower gift registry in perth and if so how it works. We are wanting to set one up for our baby shower. Any help appreciated xx

I've been googling quite a few baby stores today to see whats around and it seams most of them have gift registeries. So good for the people buying the gifts can do it on line but have no idea about actual shops in person sorry. Hope this helps. Oh and you basically seam to just pick the stuff you want on your registery then a password or something to give to those who want to buy something off it. iykwim? I guess atleast people can actually see what you want then it's they're choice to buy from there or another store.???

Some of the large chain stores here in Vic don't even do gift registries which I think is just silly.
If you cannot find anything a few other options would be A) pop everything you want on layby and give people the layby number so they can contribute towards it, depending on the store people may even be able to take the item with them. B) Create a list of the things you want and give that to whoever is helping organise your shower that way people can enquiry with that person and "buy" off your list.
