    Big bassinet sheets?

    Hi there,
I was wondering if anyone has a kingparrot or similar sized bassinet? (57 cm X 85 ish I think) and if they had problems finding sheets to fit?? The lady in the shop called this a "cradle" size ??
They all seem to be for little bassinets or massive cots and I;m not sure where to look... I'm sure they must make them but I'm obviously looking in the wrong place.

Any suggestions would be appreciated! I;m looking for something pretty plain and 100% cotton.

    Thanks!

We have a 30 year old Bassinet that is bigger than new ones today and when I bought new mattress and sheets they had about 5 different choices of sizes. They dont fit as snug as a fitted cot sheet and need to be ticked it a bit as well.

I bought them at baby bunting

Thanks! Do the edges not get pulled out with a flat sheet?? Stupid question I know but I was worried about it cbecoming untucked and being a safety hazard as the mattress seems so thin and not heavy...

Thanks for your reply though! Ls x

No as babies in bassinet are to little to wiggle that much and un tuck.

they do have elastic around edge but tuck also as too big.

You will be tucking blankets in anyway at least for a period of time before grobags.

The "Living Textiles" and "Bubba Blue" range at Baby Bunting caters for larger bassinettes. - i had a cariboo gentle motions bassinette and these sheets where the best fit i could find. - Like feeb said, the "fitted" sheet still needed to be tucked in a bit, but as bubs doesnt really move around there's very little chance of it coming untucked

ETA: I have a Boori Sleigh Cot and the above ranges fit perfectly

Going on from what Ellabear said, I found that Living Textiles are far superior in quality to Bubba Blue. I found Bubba Ble to be really thin and have washed poorly (thinner still with pilling) over a really short period of time on high rotation with others. Just my 2 cents....
