    Bootiq prams

Hi, just wondering if anyone knows what stores you can get Bootiq prams from? We're looking at the Bootiq Deux tandem pram, but I've only seen them online and really want to actually look at one before I commit to anything. Just not sure where to find them...

Do you have a local baby shop? Our local baby shop got the Deux tandem pram. I had a quick look at it, the only thing I was worried about was the leg room between the seats but I didn't have the kids with me to test it out. I am thinking about getting this pram. I am going to take the kids in sometime next week to try it out. Do you want me to let you know how I go? At the moment I have a valco double delight which I really don't like.

Thanks Yowie. I'd love to hear how you go when you have a look with the kids. I had a look at two tandem prams at a baby store on friday, and neither of them seemed fantastic. There's a couple of things I'm being picky on, so hopefully I can find a pram that I like, lol. There's another local baby store that I still want to go look in as well. Fingers crossed.

The outlet for bootiq is in sunshine and is heaps cheaper.

I can get u the detail if you would like? But would call first to see if they have any in stock. They are a seconds but that usually means something wrong with the box. Google igc

The baby jogger city select is similar to the strider plus. However a bit more in cost.

The strider is bigger at the base and I have heard of a few problems with the wheels. GL
Having said that all I know that have it love it and was up there on my list.

We chose the strider plus cause it seemed like the best double pram for around what we could afford... we got it with the second seat for $680.. I LOVE it! It is a little wide but that's not an issue, it's really sturdy and takes heaps to tip (DH had fun testing that!)

maybe check out the strider too? it has heaps of room for the second kid...

I haven't really looked at the Strider Plus, because the pram I already have is the Strider that came before this the Plus (no toddler seat can be attached). While I mostly like the pram, there are a few things that I don't like about it. The width of the back wheels really is quite large. I can manage the width, but my DH is terrible when it comes to not crashing into things with the huge wide back wheels. Also, one thing that DS hates in the Strider is that the seat doesn't sit up straight enough for him. Even in its most upright position he is still reclined and he's old enough that he wants to sit up straight. He ends up pulling himself up and holding himself upright.

Other than those two things I find the Strider great. I do love that I can still put the seat facing either me or forward and I still use both options with DS. It handles really well and I've never had anything break on it.

Just an update on the difference between a Childcare Rally and the Two Up in case anyone was wondering... I got an email back from the makers of the prams and apparently they made the Rally pram first, then Toy R Us wanted to stock it but they already had a stroller with a similar name, so Childcare started making them under the name Two Up to be sold at Toy R Us. Then they ended up selling to other retailers too. So basically, they really are the same pram

Thanks Loula for the outlet details. I went yesterday and ended up getting the Zuzu evolution, it's hood was much higher than the one on the Bootiq Deux and DD was much happier in it.
