    Bruin/Toys r us cots - opinions please

Does anyone have (or had ) a Bruin cot from Toys r us?
Not sure about them, but as we are looking for a cot right now and I see they have a special on, so wondering if I should consider one from there or avoid them!
I want something that drops down with only one hand too - do the Bruin ones?

I bought a bruin white cradle for when DS was born. I recently sold it on ebay and got back what i paid for it ($180)........loved it, no probs with it. Dont know about cots sorry.
Keeping in mind all cots/cradles have to meet Aust. Standards...so safety wise i think you would be ok with this brand - i guess it comes down to style, price and colour...

    good luck !

we looked at one a couple of years ago and decided against it as the side didnt go down.
It was just one model thou.
Also the mattress was not a standard size.
But this was a couple of years ago so things may have changed by now.

we have one for this bub and love it!! but we were the opposite as we specifically wanted one that doesnt go down and they seem to be th eonly place that has a good variety of that kind. They have a good mixture of both styles and the matching drawer sets etc are great quality too... Best bet is to check out their baby book where it has all the cot styles advertised or got to one of their deicated babys r us stores where you can see them all in real life. Thats what we did and then ordered it through our local store.

I don't know the brand we bought, but it was from toys r us and it had a drop down side, but the runners were not metal (wooden I think) so it didn't go up and down very smoothly and was quite noisy. I sold it after 3m and bought a target one that we've been very happy with.

im pretty sure we have a 3 in 1 bruin cot bought it last year from toys r us.
the cot mattress IS a standard size. and it can be converted into a toddler bed & couch. Best cot i have every bought, solid, easy to put up, unfortunately a bit to wide to fit thru our bedroom doors so to be moved room to room it has to be pulled apart and put back together.

our bruin was an exact fit through the door...after hubby took the door off the hinges...LOL!!! I dont think any cot will fit easily from room to room though......they are all that standard just too wide for a doorway width.
And taking the door off thinges and putting it back took just a couple of minutes versus ages to pull the cot apart!
