Recommendations for double pram/pram with toddler seat

We need to buy a new pram for our 2 year old DS and 1 month old DD. I'm not sure if we're after a double/twin pram or just a pram with a toddler seat attachment. There's just so much out there I was hoping you lovely BB ladies could give me some recommendations as a starting point!

    TIA .

Strider plus! It so totally rocks my world! Best thing about it is that Bella can go in the top or the bottom and vice versa with Hamish...
We got the 2011 model with the toddler seat that attaches underneath...
I'm sooo in love with it! I wish I had it sooner!
Look at the you tube vids too..

I'm a Phil and Ted's girl - its so versatile with the three kids.....Two being similar ages to yours.....(JIC you have another one )!

I could never go with a side by side pram - imagine trying to get into smaller sized shops - most aisles aren't big enough to fit those pushers anymore!

Baby jogger city select!! Its the best! Steers easier than the strider and is not as wide!! The seats also face any way so many combinations!! Easy to fold up and fits compactly in most boots!
    We cant fault it.

I have a baby jogger city mini double. I like the side by side option, and both kids love it. The seats fully recline and there is great sun protection. It fits through every doorway and aisle so far, and gets on and off trams easily. It has changed my world, especially since DS is very heavy.

I got mine cheap off ebay. I wanted a BJ city select, but didn't have the cash.

I thought a P&T, but two friends with them (a sport and a dash) discouraged me...

I have a Phil & Teds Explorer. It's super cool! I like the pedal brake- I think the other brake systems on the P&Ts would have annoyed me. My 17kg 3 year old often likes to hop in the back seat and it doesn't tip over or have any troubles.

BJ City Select. I wanted DD2 facing me and DD1 facing out and not underneath her and this is the only pram that could do it They can also face each other which I'm sure they'll love when DD2's a bit bigger.

The strides plus I have DS facing me and DD in the bottom facing out so it can do it to.

Oh really, they told me it couldn't do that. But that one wouldn't fit in my car anyway.

Yeah the lady told me it would be able to but be squashy but it's not really! I usually have DS in the bottom laying down as he is looking straight at me and DD in the top with the extenders in.

Lime - my DH said it's lucky we can't marry things or he thinks that I would marry my strider! That's how much I love it too!

I have a P&T vibe that I absolutely love and it is brilliant for shopping and busy places as it is so compact but I am also about to buy a Mountain Buggy Double for when we go for walks so the girls can both be seeing everything.

I have the Strider Plus aswell and I love it. I actually put baby in the bottom where you can lay it flat and keeps her away from unwanted sticky beaks! Now that the girls are bigger they swap and change top to bottom but when baby arrives she will go down below again

I have a P&T vibe. The brake on the vibe is very easy compared to the other models. We got ours online ubercheap (>$700 including the double kit)
I like it because it really is super easy to fold up - WITH the 2nd seat still attached.
Whilst i thought it would be weird having one child slung down underneath, it is fine. And they have so much more room than some of the toddler seat ones. My older child prefers being in the small underneath seat, because that way he can chat more easily to me - his choice, and someone did once tell me i had them around the wrong way!

Woohoo for tax time! We are finally going to buy a pram!

This weekend DH and I are going into our local shop that sells prams - will check out some different prams and see what suits us.

Baby Jogger is looking the most appealing at the moment though .
