Question Bugaboo and Peg Perrego Viago Capsule?

Has anyone bought the capsule that attaches to the Bugaboo Cameleon, with the extra clips? I have read a little about it and I saw someone using it at the Baby Expo, but I was working at the time so couldn't ask what they thought

DD will be about 30 months when bub is due, so was wondering if I could get away with the skate board and the capsule, or whether it is jsut easier to use a sling (we have an Ergo, Bubba Sling and Baby Bjorn Synergy) and the Bug and just get another capsule.....

DD is currently in the Sand S Meridian, so were hoping to use that for her until bub is too big for the capsule, then get one bigger seat for her until she is about 7, as I think is the new laws state.

Or do you have other recommendations?
    TIA xxoo

I have the peg perego viaggio and love love love it! I don't have a bugaboo, I bought ours to go on our peg perego skate pram so same principle with the clips etc. It is so easy to just take the whole capsule out and pop him on the pram, especially if he is asleep, he doesn't even wake up. It also comes in handy if we get home and he is still asleep, I just take the capsule out and bring him inside an dlet him finish his sleep in the capsule on the floor....saves waking him up and trying to settle him back down again. I find I still use the bassinette on the pram from time to time...I tend to switch around between the two attachments. the bassinette is in the boot fulltime, if I am going to be out for an extended period I will take him out of the capsule and usew the bassinette as i feel it is better for his back that way, but for most trips the capsule is fine.

I hope that helps insome way.... Oh and they have some funky colours in the capsule...we have the orange and chocolate suede one, it is really yummy!!

Thankyou Melbel for all your information! Those are the reasons why I was considering a capsule for the next bubs, especially having a toddler to run around after

Did you get an extra base for your capsule, to put it in another car, or is it easy enough to remove the base from the car to put in another car as well?

The colours are gorgeous!! My bug is red and charcoal
    Thankyou xxoo

We didn't get the extra base...we just go everywhere as a family inmy car...hubbies car is a bit of a tip anyways!! LOL....nice car, he is just hopeless at keeping it tidy on the inside...

I think from memory when we priced it the extra base is about $100...I would be buying it and getting both professionally installed as there is a bit of a knack to getting it level correctly for the different slopes of different back seats.....that is another feature unique to the peg which is great..it has a little ball bearing section that acts like a spirit level and it tells you when you have the base at the correct level for the capsule...the guy that instaled ours loves the peg seats! Not sure if you are in Melbourne or not but they have a professional installer at the baby bunting stores on selected days each week...cost us $30 and was money well spent....

The have a red peg as well which would match your bug...not that it needs to because they are never on the pram frame at the same time...we have an orange capsule and a lime green seat unit.....nothing like a bit of variety!
