    Recommendations for compact pram

I've bought a newish Kia Rio and it has quite a small boot, so I'm researching prams that may fit. What I'm looking for is a pram that folds up small without too many steps and has:
    *either reversible seat or handles
*a bassinet / ability for a newborn to lay flat
    *light
    *extendable handles

I'd like bub to face me for the first few months, so that narows the search down a lot.

This pram will only be for trips to shops etc. For going for a long walk etc, we're getting a Silver Cross Sleepover (which fits in DH's car's boot).

    TIA

The silvercross Dazzle stroller has a carrycot option which faces you.

What's your budget? A Bugaboo ticks all those boxes.

I'd say the budget is under $1000, though I'm sure DH would prefer it to be under $400

I'll look at the Bugaboo bee, but DH has already ruled out the chameleon - it's not tall enough and overpriced.

RD - I'll look at the Dazzler. Looks interesting. How small does it fold up to?

Has anyone any experience with Joolz prams?

If you're interested in the bee there is a new model which has just been released in Europe and the US and due to come to Australia "summer 2010" but not sure if that is our summer or their summer! It has a bigger seat and extendable backrest and basically seems to have lots of improvements from all the feedback that they've got from the original model. I'm tempted to trade in my cameleon for one as the 2 piece fold is starting to annoy me- although I LOVE it overall and it was perfect with the bassinet. Just thought if you were looking at the bee that might be useful, as I;d be annoyed if I bought one and then a better model came out... or they'll probably discount the old model hugely once the new on is released... food for thought.

I"d second the bugaboo bee. I have one and I love it! Very small and easy to fold.

My vote is for the bugaboo bee too! We wanted DS to face us for a few months (only just turned him around sob sob!) and didn't want to take the pram into two piece to fold. It has a fantastically small turning circle, handles beautifully, has a reasonable sized parcel shelf thingy and a good hood. LOVE IT!
