Cot & Changetable - Can I put stuff in???

We are picking up our cot and changetable tomorrow and i have read on here that there is a smell at the beginning when it is new,is it ok if I put things in the draws of the changetable?

If there is a smell from the wod, will any harm come to anything I was to put in there.

Im not putting clothes in there yet it would just be packets of wipes and face washers and a towel or 2 and perhaps some toys...

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

no there is no harm. What i liked doing tho was brushing abit of baby powder of the inside of the draws. Never got that wood smell on the clothes then

Hi, I didn't have any problems either. A few of my own clothes picked up a woodern smell but I didn't find that they needed washing and the smell wasn't noticeable once they were on.
