cot linen ...probably a silly question

I'm just shopping on ebay for some sheets for the cot and bassinet and it just occured to me ....

do you buy a doona / quilt for bubby when they are in their cot or do u just make sure they are well dressed???

can anyone tell this is my first time ......lol

Quilts and pillows aren't recommended for babies under 12 months so just make sure baby is nice and warm

we have blankets here in winter and wraps in summer

we use a sleeping bag and a cot sheet + thin blanket if she needs it (just remember safe sleeping at the end of the cot and to tuck the sheet / blanket in really well at the bottom of the cot so they cant pull it over their heads )

Oh, Dee, I forgot to say, if you have a sqiurmer who kicks of the blankets and who hates being wrapped (like me ) sleeping bags are great because you know they're always covered and wont get too cold

yeah they are kind of like a dress that is closed at the bottom, google grobag (they're the more expensive ones but they'll give you an idea).

We use sleeping bags & sheets. Sometimes I do put Brock down under a blanket as he's alredy asleep & I don't want to wake him up trying to put him in the sleeping bag. If we do that he always chucks the blanket off.

Pip moves around too much for sheets & blankies (although he LOVES being tucked in!)

At myer / best & less they have these sleeping suits, they're like wondersuits but made of flannel, brilliant for when they start moving around the bed.
