    Question Stroller recommendations?!

I am going to buy a stroller very shortly for my DS as his BIG pram is too bulky and we don't really need it now.

What sort of stroller do you have and would you recommend it?! I love the Maclarens but I don't know if I want to spend that much money. I was all ready to buy one the other week but DH stopped me

    TIA

I have a MacLaren, it is excellent. However I dont think you need to spend that much money to get a good stroller. I've seen some decent looking ones in target for half the price. I only got a MacLaren because it was bought for me, but it is really good.

I have a Quicksmart stroller. I bought it online, but I have seen them in Target as well. I like it as it is pretty light (about 5 - 6kg) and folds up really small. I think it also came with a 12 months warranty. The wheels are small though and that is sometimes a bit annoying if I am out walking (we have terrible footpaths with huge cracks in them) but apart from that the stroller has been really good.

I have a Valco one. It's nice and easy to fold and it has layback but not all the way so no good for tiny bubbas.

Oshani, I bought a Maclaren and honestly it is the best stroller. I have used it for almost 4 years and it is still going strong. I also travel overseas with DS about twice a year and it is great, even on those uneven footpaths and roads in Asia, etc. Most of them also recline so they can sleep in it and they really are great to push. I got mine at David Jones when Maclaren had released a new fabric in that particular stroller (Quest) and it was about $100 off. So maybe see if anywhere has any on sale.

I have a Maclaren Quest, and honestly next time I would have bought one that reclines fully. Julia always slumps in it and shes 16 months now and still slumps from when she was 6 months. Like the Maclaren Vogue or the Valco Ultralight. Also be careful when choosing the wheels of a stroller too if wanting to use on footpaths etc outdoors, the Maclaren Quest has crappy wheels that are flat not ridged like the Maclaren Vogue or Titan or some of the Valco's

Peg Parego - check it out in the shops, lay the little one dawn in it and you will see that the stroller versions allow so much more head room for as they grow.
