No it can be folded with them on. I have the basinette on mine at the moment and I prefer to take it off to fold it but you don't have to.
Oh ok! It looks a lot wider. How does it fold, do you have to take the seats off like with the Chameleon?

I had a mountain buggy for dd (now6) and have a bugaboo at the moment. I can't recommend the bugaboo enough! Easier to push. Lighter to lift. Doesn't require awkward posture to out in the boot. Fits through all does and aisles (dd1 pram was shocking). My only complaint about the bugaboo is not having the ability to elevate a newborn with colic and its not great on rough terrain. Otherwise I LOVE it!
yeah you can fold in a one piece fold in both single and double mode. in that mode though it *just* doesnt fit into my sedan boot. But i have seen that others with SUVs and wagons can do it no problems and i would think that with a bigger sedan (we have a honda civic) that it would go in...we are literally millimeters from fitting it in in that mode).
but i do fold it up whole like that for in our hallway (we live in a 2 bedroom terrace lol). it sits upright in folded mode so really easy to store away ITMS.
