    I want one!

I want one of those baby sling/wraps, DD has many days where she just does not want to be put down to play by herself. and even when out she's not always happy in the pram so I often end up carrying her and pushing the pram.
I have a sling, but it's too small. I have a carrier but it doesnt seem like it will hold her for much longer and I hate all the buckles.
I have done a bit of research, and the style I love is on ebay called the 'moby sling'
I've bidded on a few but Im always outbidded at the last second!
So then I got thinking.. it is just a big long peice of fabric! I could just make it myself!
So does anybody have one? .. I'd love to know..
    • What kind of fabric is used?
    • Do you know the measurments for them?
    • Has anybody made them?

    Thanks!

I haven't made one myself but I know that quite a few BBers have made their own. I think there are a few threads around on them.
If you google "make your own baby sling" or something along those lines HEAPS of links come up with all different tutes! Hth!

    Thanks
Just had a big browse around google.. seems to be just a 4.5metre length by 20 inch..
And to use cotton Jersey. Seems simple enough

I have made two - one for me and one for another BBer. It's just cotton jersey. Buy 5m, and cut it in half lengthways. You'll get two. I got adventurous and started adding pockets and applique and stuff for a bit of fun. Too easy
