    Love N Care Glider Chair

I was always thinkig about getting a glider chair for the nursery but wondered if it was over the top. In the special care nursery they had them and I loved them. I have found them on sale for $295 including the ottoman and I guess I just want your feedback that it is a good investment. I seem to be up for 2hrs with DD at each feed through the night and when she is in pain the only way we seem to get her to sleep properly is sitting with her laying on our chest. I think having the chair in her room would probably be good as it is a quiet place with out tv and noise distraction. Also the other day one of DH work mates came around and I really didn't feel comfortable sitting beside him and feeding so I had to sit on the bed.

I'm just looking for your opinion good and bad as to whether it is a good investment or I'll regret spending the $$ on it.

I bought a glider and ottoman from Toys r us and it has had soooooo much use with my first two. Great for night feeding and the hours spent settling. I'm sure it'll be just as used with this 3rd one as well.
    I Definately recommend getting one.

Thanks girls, I think I will just order it.

Hollo - I like the valco and yes it is more expensive $500 as I can only shop online. I was wondering if I should get it but think I'll be happy enough with the Love N Care, and if not, I'll have no issues selling it here without loosing money and buy the Valco

Oh yes! You'll love it! I have the Love n Care and it's great. Nice and comfy. It's now sitting in DS's room and it's excellent to sit down with him in it at night when he wakes. I don't have to stand up cuddling him. I've fallen asleep in it myself whilst trying to get him back to sleep lol.

Not that we have used our glider chair for bubs yet ... bubs is due in March

We bought a glider chair and ottoman from Babies R Us (Toys R Us), it was on sale from $350 to $250 a few weeks ago so I convinced DH we HAD to get it. I think it's a Bruin brand one ... cannot quite remember the name on the box.

I've recevied heaps of positive comments from all my girlfriends (with bubs) who have seen the chair. I even hosted a friend's baby shower on Sunday and found two of the new Mum's taking turns to breastfeed their little one's in the chair.

I like to sit in it now and just relax and think about all the excitment due to arrive in March.

Yes, I know ... I am too organised, 15 weeks along and I have the nursery pretty well all set up.

I want to get one for number 2. I think one would be good for night feeds and rocking to sleep.

Once DD was maybe 3 or 4 months old she would get very distracted while feeding. I needed a quiet place to feed when there were other people around, so I would have got lots of use out of it.
