Maclaren Ryder feedback please

Hi, toys r us currently have the maclaren Ryder on sale for $160 off regular price. I have been told its like the vogue only better? I have been thinking about getting the vogue (once finances allow me) but I'm thinking if the ryder is a good stroller & this is a really good deal then I'll bite the bullet & go in tomorrow & buy it on credit card, then pay off as I get the money.

Please give me any feedback on this stroller, good or bad. Should I get it at this fantastic price?

MODS this thread can be closed, I bought the ryder today, ended up getting it even cheaper than toys r us had advertised as David Jones does price matching & then beat it for us, so we ended up getting it for $239!!! Usually $449.99.

Yes I was very happy & surprised by the massive saving!!! How are you going with your vogue?

its great love it!! just need to remember not to put heavy bags or nappy bags on back.

basket is hard to access if bubs asleep and lying down but apart from that its great so much easier to get in and out car etc!

have you played with your ryder much yet?

Hey! I seen the Ryder in at Toys r us the other day...do you like the fabric???? I would love it in a red or something but they said the black was the only colour. Wonder how it is to clean being faux leather or whatever it is!! What a bargain though!!

Mines black & I love the look & feel of it. The material all comes off to be cleaned (has instructions how to do so)
I saw in David Jones a black one with red patterned seat. It was called Maclaren Ryder ..... something or other, so it was a ryder but had an extra name on the end. Sorry I cant remember the name but it was black & red, have a look around. If I get back to the mall soon I'll take a photo on my phone & write down the name for you

Oh cool, thanks for that! We don't have DJ's here, but I was going to go into babies Galore and see what they have as I know they price match! I have been wanting a Macalren for ages - just hard to justify the money - but the Ryder is the first one I have seen on special for such a good price!!

I called our local babies galore & asked if they'd price match, they said it depends on what item & also depends on the price so I knew it would be a "no" & once I told them the item & price they said "no, we cant match that". I really hate my local babies galore, they've got the worst customer service!

Do you have a myer store there, they price match aswell.
