Must Buy for Mums to Be

I have discovered a must buy, not for bubs to be but for the mums to be!!

I recently bought a Body Pillow after having night after night of no sleep, not being able to find a comfy position or waking up lying on my stomach. I have been sleeping like a log ever since!! I feel much better energywise now & sore back has gone.

I got mine from Target for $50 & it comes with 2 pillowcases. This is the long narrow one. Yes it is big but you can wrap your arms & legs around it & rest the bump on it & it is sooooo comfy & relaxing.

I thought it would be cumbersome but after a restless first night I got used to it & don't even wake up when I roll over with it now. I love love love it!!

Ohhh it was a definate for me with my firdt pregnancy but gave it to my mum when we moved from brisbaneto mackay a couple of months ago so I will have to go buy another one in the next couple of weeks cause i am a tummy sleeper and will need to need it to prop myself up!!

They are fantastic aren't they?! I wish I'd had mine from the get-go. It's great for when you're breastfeeding too after bubs is born.

I agree, it definitely is a must for all mums to be. I bought mine when I was approx 5 wks pg and I love it! Haven't been able to do without it since.

Definite recommendation here for anyone considering buying one.... I say just do it, it is money well spent and after the baby is born the spending for yourself stops!

Oh, I had a body pillow for my first pregnancy, sold in in a garage sale after and just bought myself a new one (Target, too). They are THE BEST THING EVER!

Yep, a body pillow becomes a permanent fixture in our bed during pregnancy as well. We're still going on the Big W one we bought many years ago.

I have to agree too. I got mine from BigW ($40) when i was 20weeks & have used it every night since. Mine also came with 2 pillowslips. Right now in the BigW baby catalogue i noticed they selling them at $30.

I know, I was spewing, I had just bought mine at Target for almost twice the price the week before. The only thing I find very annoying about those body pillows is that both the ones I have had (first one was from Spotlight) got really lumpy very quickly (after only a couple of nights) and ended up empty in the middle and plump on both ends. The middle is right where I want the padding, though. Grrrr...

I got a Snoogle (long pillow like a big "c" shape) and DH declared that I loved it more than him! It was bliss, and I should have bought it sooo much earlier than I did!
