We used about 2.5 boxes of the newborn size (Huggies) before needing to go up to Infant. Keeping the receipts if you get them from coles/woollies/safeway is a good idea. I knew it was time to upsize when we regularly had leakage...

I have also used Aldi nappies, and they've worked well for my DS.
