I have had no issues with break! I love fact that handle folds down so you know that break is on! Friends have sport and hate break on that.

I do find when baby lieing flat that nappy bag tends to knock back of there head so i either carry on me or shove under pram.

    skate or phil and teds

I have the Peg Perego Skate and absolutely love it (it has been worth every penny).

The only downside (which I have been able to live with so far) is the weight. It is 15 kg and doesn't exactly fold up as compact as others. You need a big car boot. I recently went car shopping and the only mid size car boots that it fit in were the Ford Focus and the Toyota Corolla.

However in all honesty if your baby is not a newborn you won't appreciate all that makes the Skate great, and therefore worth the price.

Now my DS is one I'm looking at a getting a new, lighter weight pram that will last him longer than the Skate will - because of the way the seat is designed, babies tend to outgrow by 2 years old.

I'm seriously considering the PnT Sport.

    Hi All,

I'm thinking to get the Phil and teds dash or maybe the vibe if the price is right? Which one is better? Is the dash anygood? I heard there are front wheel wobble problems on some of them....

Is the dash or vibe good for a newborn?

Originally thinking about the peg perego skate but I heard its heavy so that is out of my list and the bugaboo cameleon is out of my price range. Looking to spend $700 max.

    Thanks!

hi K3nnis, we have just bought the PnT Dash. what i like about it is that it is a compact pram that can fit two kids. so far we have found it lightweight and easy to use. all PnT prams can be used from newborn upwards. apparently the model of 'Dash' that had all the issues was the one made in 2008...(wheel and brake issues).

we got ours with the doubles kit for $700. then we bought the baby cocoon thingy off ebay for just under $40 (as opposed to $90 at the store).

    HTH!

    Hi,

Thanks for the info! Can I ask where you got yours from? And how do I make sure I don't get the 2008 stock?

Trying to decide if the vibe is worth it over the dash.....

    Cheers!

Thanks for the info. I was wondering what did your friend not liked about the Vibe?

i think that pretty much any new dash is 2010 ATM. these are good and popular prams (from what i have been hearing) so they clear out pretty quick. BUT, like Feeb mentioned, not all the 2008 models had the issues, and i would hazard that if you are buying second hand and there were issues they would of been replaced (i would of thought...).

    Hi,

I checked with some stores and they said they all have 2010 stock and they added an extra washer to get rid of that wheel wobble problem.

How far away from your due dates do you girls buy the prams? Or it doesn't matter how early

    Cheers!
