Sling/Baby carrier suggestions and opinions

Hi, I am looking at getting a sling for bubs, for around the house and out and about also for discreet breast feeding when out. Can you please give me your opinions I have been looking at the hug a bub but wondered what the over the shoulder (sling) ones were like.
have you breastfed with the hug a bub or the sling how did you find this?. What about summer did you find them too hot for bubs.
Any info you could provide me with would be much appreciated. Looking at getting one asap.

When my bub was only a few weeks I would use a ring sling. Could feed in it but could not get it realy comfy. I love Mai Tai carriers, I can put her on my back, front or hip and can also feed in it.

The best thing is to see if you can find some one who has a few and try them on. As some suit some pple and others don't. I also love my ergo but never used it when she was little.

Definately agree with trying them on, (remember that you are pregnant and they fit differently to when you are'nt anymore!!!!!) I bought a couple off ebay and they are definately not comfortable ( I constantly felt like I had to adjust the postion). I ended up going back to my baby bjorn, bubs loves it more than the sling and I feel loads more comfortable wearing it. Shop around, maybe even wait till you have bubs??? Most of all good luck.

I LOVE the hug a bub. Its so comfy and I wear it all day. I also have a ring sling for discreet breastfeeding, but haven't mastered it yet.

I just wear DD in the hug a bub and take her out for feeds and pop her straight back in again. There is so much fabric, you can't see any of the breast anyway (you also have to manouvre all the fabric so she can find the nipple lol).
