Hi there!
Busy researching convertible booster seats for my son.
He's nearly 2&1/2 and just on 15kgs, but his sister has hit the 9kg mark and now has his seat ( we have the one from my mum's car at the moment for DS).
Anyway, I'm trying to work out which seat to get.
Safety is a huge factor, followed closely by value.
I've got my research so far, down to 3 -
SNS Maxi rider AHR
Hipod Senator
Infa Comfy cruiser.
I went into the local baby store a few days ago to see what they stocked, with only hte SNS and Hipod in mind, but the salesman showed me the Infa and mentioned that it had the highest safety rating ( The comfy cruiser has apparently recently replaced the trek 8).
I was wondering what everyone who had any of these seats thought of them? Pros and Cons?
At the moment, I'm leaning towards the comfy cruiser because of both price and safety ( it's the cheapest of the 3 yet has the highest safety rating as a booster).
If anyone knows of any other seats that I haven't mentioned, feel free to let me know.
We have the SNS Maxi Rider AHR and have no complaints. DS loves it and always looks more than comfortable in it. We bought it because we've always used SNS carseats so it is a brand we know & trust.
We have the Hipod in both of our cars for Noah and love it. I'm not a fan of that velourish material in fact I can't touch it gived me goosebumps and makes me feel sick lol I know I sound like aa wierdo we have the hipod convertible car seats too and are happy with those (we picked those thanks to the material too lol)
So it was the natural progression to get the boosters too
We have the infa, but the trek 8 version and it has been great, DD seems quite comfortable in it, and it is very highly rated in terms of safety and we got it on sale so it was considerable cheaper than the others- Toys'r'us stock them, and they can be quite good value on sale.
