Strider Plus and DLX Capsule

I know there has been alot of chat about the new Strider Plus, and I have read alot of people who say the old DLX capsule with fit it but I was instore playing with it the other day (again I like to go a couple of times before buying) and the store didnt have the new capsule in stock, so I tried to put the DLX capsule on the pram and couldnt get it to fit. All the assistants were busy and I quickly asked one and she just shrugged at me.

We were going to pick it up after xmas but now I am not sure. We have been givin a dlx capsule and it was the only reason we were replacing our current travel system with the new strider.

Has anyone actually physically put the DLX capsule onto the Strider Plus??? Or do I have a severe case of baby brains

Hi Studymum.... Yes it does fit, I work in a baby store and had the DLX capsule on the Plus the other day, I just had to push it down a little more than usual. Did you try and lock it in??? You have to move the handle of the capsule all the way to the back so it locks in place...

I did try my hardest but that doesnt mean much at the moment, I think docile has hit its peak this weak

Yeah, I also have put the DLX capsule in the Plus. IT is a bit of a harder fit, but it definitely goes.

Sorry to hi-jack but I am just wondering if once fitted in the car, the strider capsule is smaller in size than a regular turn around carseat? I only have a tiny car and dont want to buy a new one if it can be helped.
