Bright Coloured Unisex bedding and decorations

I'm trying to find some brightly coloured manchester and room decorations for our nursery, but am having trouble finding some unisex. I've seen the kidsline range, and the living textiles, of which I was thinking about getting the retro baby but not too sure. Really - how much bedding do you need?

Our cot and furniture is white and hence thinking bright colours but I can't seem to find any anywhere Any suggestions would be great...

I am no help to you - I am in exactly the same predicament. The room is white, the furniture is white - and I want bright - reds and such.......but everything is natural or nuetral or pastel. Blah.

Give me something with a bit of OMPH!

Heres hoping someone can point us in a direction!

    Hi Ellie.
Did you see the snug as a bug range by KidsLine? We have it for our DS- its brightly coloured and unisex, so will still be great if we have a girl. All his baby furniture is white and i think it goes so well - its my favorite room in the house - so uplifting!!
We have painted his room a very soft yellow and pale mint green to compliment the brighter yellow & green in the bedding colours.
How much bedding do you need? Not much in my opinion. In the early days he was always swaddled in a muslin wrap, and now he needs a sleeping bag every night as he wriggles around like a worm and the sheets/rugs etc are good for nothing! In my experience, a winter and summer sleeping bag made from natural materials (cotton, hemp, wool, etc) is an absolute must!!

    Have fun deciding!

Sanchez - yes I love Red - but not much around, and also orange... I wanted something a lil different to the normal stuff. Considering don't need much bedding to start with, I'm thinking of creating list of boy stuff and list of girl stuff and when I have bubs sending my mum and sister on a shopping spree lol. THere are some funky removable wall stickers with bright colours - so maybe I'll go that way as an interim measure as the ones i found online weren't too exy, just gotta find them again now

Jellybean - I have seen that one, and I bidded that range on ebay - but lost, I wasn't sure if it was what I wanted so didn't bid too high lol

I plan on using swaddles and sleeping bags so perhaps I'll just get some funky sheets etc.

We have gone with lime green (we don't know what Tarko is) and we bought the Lambs and Ivy 'Zoofari' manchester set. It's adorable, bright, funky and suitable for either sex.

The Lambs and Ivy website has the full range. They even have mini arm chairs to match each style! We bought our manchester set and the matching stuffed toys at a local baby store here in Perth.

I got my DS a brand of bedding called Duck. My DS is three and half know but back then you could get it at Baby Co. He had bright green sheets, and muslin wraps in a red, blue, yellow and green (very bright-non pastel) which came in a pack. I also got him a Fire engin red pure wool blanket (came from Spotlight) which had bright blue blanket stich around the edge. DS's cot was white also and it looked really lovely. So different from all the pastil looks out there, which were nice also but just not for me.

    Good look on your search.
