Thermometer recommendations

Bub #2 is due in less than 8 weeks eeeiiiik! Anyway I need a new thermometer for Miss 4 and bubs. A few people have recommended getting a forehead one and so I'm just wondering what peoples opinions are? Are they worth the extra $ and if so, are there any brands better than others?

I've heard they're not terribly reliable but have no personal experience. We spent the extra money and got a no touch digital one.

We have an expensive Vicks forehead thermometer and I hate it. It's so fiddly, wish I'd just paid a bit more and got an ear digital one. They seem a lot easier!

we have gone through a million in the hope of finding a good one. finally did! we went with a braun ear one. it is super quick and is in and out before the kids realise lol
