Question For those who own a Bugaboo - please help me!

We have a bugaboo cameleon and yesterday DH and I decided it was a good idea to try and work out how it folds up and goes in and out of the car. We put it together months ago when we first bought it but basically it has just sat there since then. WELL - after reading the book over and over and I have seen the online demonstration before - we were in serious struggle town. We did figure it out but seriously, there has to be an easier way...........my main struggle is with the chassis and getting it OUT of the car. Folding it up to go in the car seems easy enough but getting it out is my problem. Any advice would be much appreciated

Yes there is a bit of an art to it

I never looked at the manual or online demo, as the bug arrived after DD was born and still in hospital so I didn't even put it together, the shop did it for me and I got a friend to show me a couple fo weeks later.

    Step 1.

Take off the bassinet, by pushing in the two rectangle buttons on each side. and lifting up, put the handle on it, makes it a lot easier to carry.

    Step 2

Stand behind the handly bar, press down the two white sldie buttons on the sides of the handlbar and drop the handle, or lower it until it hits the ground.

    Step 3.

Grab the central bar, which has the bugaboo sticker on it, and lift, that will collapse the whole base, the front wheel axel should lock into the frame for the back wheels, keeping it together put into the boot with the handle facing outwards or sideways and sit the bassinet on top.

    To put it back up...

    Step 1.

Take the chassis out hold the handle, put it on the ground with the handle up, grab the front axel, and push on it to unattach it from the back axel, then grab the handle lift quickly and the front wheels should flick out, and drop to the ground, this is the trickier bit, but once you get it you will find it really easy

    Step 2.

    Clip Bassinet on top

This is the hardest part, the video shows that you just pick it up and it flicks out easily which is totally wrong, it's quite sticky and you do need to push it as per Beema's instructions.

Make sure you have a play around with it, not like me who tried to put it together for the first time in a busy Coles carpark with a 2 week old and looked like an idiot.
