DD is nearly one, and she is always wriggling around and banging her head of her cot and waking herself up!! I dont think she is ready for a bed yet though, she still cant climb off DS's bed, so i know there would be issues there if she was in a bed!! Plus i like knowing she is safe in her cot.. (well safe besides knocking herself out on the cot )
But this morning i had an idea, Im just not too sure how safe it would be... we have a couch in her room, i was laying with her there this morning, i got up to go to the loo and looked down to see DD roll over against the couch, and not wake herself up coz she didnt hurt herself!!! And i thought.. hmmm i wonder... the width is about the size of her cot, it has a high back, (so i could turn it around so the open but is against the wall) and i would put up our wiggles playpen thing at the end as a rail so she couldnt get out.. but she would have cushioning- but my worry is too much cushioning, and is it safe??? The back of the couch is solid, as in its not a removable cushion, so she wouldnt get stuck between cushions.. im just not 100% sure about it, but i am definately over her banging her head on the cot!!!!
Any ideas?? I might try and get a picture of it later fo rthe gallery so you can see the couch in question!
