Hi girls I am hoping you may be able to help me.
On Monday night I did 2 HPT that were positive - we were very excited. I worked out I was probably 4 weeks from the date of my last period. (This confuses me.)
I thought having done 2 tests it would be fairly accurate.
Anyway last night after my walk I went to the toilet and noticed a faint trace of blood - this happened in my first pregnancy although it was much later ( I was about 8 weeks) and it was after a game of netball. I am still bleeding this morning and I am going to the doctor's this afternoon. Was I never pregnant? Will I still be pregnant? I am a bit confused and would love to hear your thoughts and similiar experiences.

it is common to bleed early in pregnancy, esp around the time of your expected period. I would say it's just early bleeding and as long as it's not heavy and you are not cramping badly, then you are still pregnant. However, getting checked by ur gp is a good idea and they will prob want to keep a closer eye on you.....
Thanks Kerrie. I have just been looking at an old thread about bleeding in pregnancy which was comforting to read. I've also been reading some articles. I feel worried and needed to share because we aren't telling anyone about the pregnancy.

Well I got to the doctor and he has sent me for my bloods tomorrow and hopefully an ultrasound next week - which is actually 3 hours away. We will wait and see.

Im sorry to read that you didnt get good news. Lots of positive vibes for the next time you try, remember it doesnt have to be this cycle, wait until you are both ready.
