I keep getting -ve OPK! Any recommendations?

    Hi

A month ago I decided to be a cheapo and buy cheap OPK (the dip stick ones) online. I tried to use one each day from CD10 all the way to CD18 and never once got a positive! I am now starting to think i either don't ovulate (even though my AF is 29 days BANG on time!) or i missed the surge completely. Even though we BD every 2 days in that window we didn't conceive. They are so hard to use as i can't quite take it to work (imagine trying to hide a small container on your way to the toilet) so have to do it at home at around 8pm. Or can you use them in your morning pee (the instructions tell you not to).

This month i have ordered a basal therm from BB so hopefully this is alot easier to use and maybe can predict ovulation this time.

Has anyone had this (never got + OPK with dip sticks) but conceived (or able to predict ovulation) using a basal therm?

    Thanks ladies!
    xx

I got OPK's from lullaby conceptions.. On the box it says to test between 10am and 6pm with the best time 2pm.. I don't ovulate every month but I have had a positive opk when I tested.. I tested at 2pm.. Hope that helps..

i have endo and still managed to conceive naturally. But my doc told me that even though my cycles were regular (between 28-31 days) there was still a possibility that i was ovulating. (you can have normal cycle/AF and still not ovulate) - best thing to do is get yourself to a doc and request some blood tests to check your hormones (FSH, LH etc) and they will tell you if you are actually ovulating or not
