15 dpo BFP's followed by BFN's and still no AF

    Hi

My AF didn't start and I was feeling a little unusual for me so did a First Response Early signs poas at 15dpo which produced a faint line. Did the other two in the box 16 dpo and 17dpo, both with very distinct lines, although not as distinct or clear as the control.

All symptoms on full steam - enlarged and painful breasts, plenty cm, dizziness and nausea (usually very first sign which comes on before AF due for me)

Got a Clearblue Digital (I wanted to see the word itself) which I did 20dpo and it came out 'Not pregnant' - *freak out* DH goes out and buys Crystal Blue poas, first had very faint blue line, did the second first thing 21dpo with BFN result, then went and got a First Response (not Early Signs as couldn't find one in the local shop) and again BFN.

Now 22 dpo and no AF, still feeling very sick with enormous painful breasts. I will be making an appointment to see my GP but might not be able to get an appointment tomorrow (today being Sunday).

I have had miscarriages before, but I found out when AF appeared rather then getting repeated BFN's and I was just wondering if anyone has had the same with HPK's and if so, whether there was a happy ending or if not, how long it took before AF came along.

    Thanks

    CharlieC

    HI CharlieCat

How did you go at the GP? When I started reading your post I was going to suggest going to the GP for a blood test to check for certain - they could perhaps to an initial blood test to check your levels, then do another test 2-3 days later to see if those levels are rising (doubling) to see whats going on for sure.

I've had a m/c at 5-6 weeks and I got faint BFP's but then brown spotting began followed by red flow so I kind of knew straight away without having to wait, even though I continued to get faint BFP's for a week after the initial bleeding began. However I had a friend who had a "missed miscarriage" and it was only detected around 8 weeks, then she had to have a D&C. So everyone is different really. I'm sorry I can't give you any other positive stories, however I have definitely read stories on various forums where some ladies continued to get BFN's even though AF never arrived and they definitely turned out to be pregnant and carried bubs to full term! So there is always hope!

    Good luck
    xoxo

    Hi rilady

Thank you for the reply. I started bleeding on Monday and it's all over now. Dr's visit went well in the circumstances and she is sending me to see someone for progesterone support. Hopefully have some good news in the near future.
